What is Tapping?

Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) is a form of psychological acupressure, similar to acupuncture but without the needles…When we tap on certain points on our body it sends calming signals to a part of our brain called the amygdala (pronounced ah-mig-da-lah).  The amygdala is a  part of our brain the size of an almond which is our fight or flight response, so whenever the mind senses fear or danger , including emotions like embarrassment, lack of confidence, trauma  and anxiety,  this amygdala fires up, does its job in trying to protect you and wants you to get the heck out of that situation….Tapping on these certain points on your body with your fingers shifts any stuck energy, brings your nervous system back into sync, reduces that anxiety, helps you remain calm and breaks through barriers by releasing emotions, allowing you to move forward, achieve your goals, feel more confident and be free to be your amazing gorgeous self.
